Gospel for Asia

Serving the Physically and Spiritually Impoverished in South Asia

What Does Gospel for Asia Do?

Gospel for Asia is a ministry that seeks to reach the 2 billion people who have never heard of Jesus.  The ministry started with a Tuesday night prayer meeting for the lost world and prayer is the foundation of our ministry today.

Training National Missionaries

Gospel for Asia trains national missionaries to reach others from their own cultures. These workers have fewer cultural obstacles than Western missionaries. The countries Gospel for Asia works in are closed to Western missionaries.

Our missionaries are ready to suffer for their faith. One brother would switch trains in order to pass out Gospel literature. As he was doing this one day, he was from behind and beaten up. All he could think about afterward was how much this man needed the love of Jesus, so he ran after the man to give him a piece of Gospel literature.

Compassion Ministry

Gospel for Asia has been reaching the lowest of the low for more than 30 years. Our workers reach out to leprosy patients and those living in slums with the love of Christ. GFA helps rebuild the lives of those affected by natural disaster by providing physical and spiritual aid.

In addition, our missionaries provide an education and an opportunity to hear about Jesus for children through Bridge of Hope.

It is the mission of Gospel for Asia for the church in the West to know Christ more intimately and to equip them to live in the light of eternity for those who have never heard of Jesus.
