In early January, 4 Israeli soldiers were killed by a Palestinian, who took over a truck and attacked all those who were nearby. It is believed he supported the terrorist attacks of ISIS.

CNN reports, “The driver who plowed a truck into a group of soldiers in Jerusalem, killing four people and injuring at least 10, may have been an ISIS sympathizer, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

The soldiers had just gotten off a bus, when the truck started going back and forth, hitting people out in the road.

According to The International Business Times, “Security camera footage broadcast on Israeli TV stations showed the truck barreling at a high speed into a crowd of soldiers gathered next to a bus. The truck then quickly backed up before the driver was shot dead.”

The attacker has been identified.

The New York Times explains, “The Palestinian official news agency, WAFA, identified the driver of the truck as Fadi Ahmad Al-Qunbar, 28, a resident of the nearby Palestinian neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber in East Jerusalem. Ribhi Ewiysat, a resident of the neighborhood, said that a large number of Israeli security forces had entered the area and were at the attacker’s house.”

The Jerusalem Evangelistic Outreach seeks to reach the Jews and Palestinians with the hope of Christ.

According to Jerusalem Evangelistic Outreach, “The Jerusalem Evangelistic Outreach (JEO) was established in 1989 by a local pastor with the purpose of reaching Arabs with the message of salvation. Since Arabs come from an oral society in which storytelling is still seen as a way of preserving culture, the outreach is done through media production and distribution, relief ministry, bookstores in the Holy Land, and trips to Biblical sites to teach their stories and significance.”

Please pray for many Arabs to know the hope of Christ through Jerusalem Evangelistic Outreach.
