Andrew Palau Returned to Jamaica, Where He Accepted Christ, to Lead Evangelistic Festival

Andrew Palau never thought that 31 years later he would return to Jamaica, where he accepted Christ, to lead his own evangelistic festival.

JAMAICA —At 27 years old, being the rebellious son of one of the world’s most well-known evangelists, Andrew Palau never thought that 31 years later he would return to Jamaica, where he accepted Christ, to lead his own evangelistic festival.

31 Years After Accepting Christ as the Rebellious Son of a Preacher Thanks to His Father’s Evangelization in Jamaica, Andrew Palau Returned Last Month to Lead His Own Evangelistic Festival.

Andrew Palau:

“I was a 27-year-old young man and a functional alcoholic.”

During the “Fun in the Son” festival held in Kingston, more than 25,000 people were reached through a series of activities, and over 2,000 responded to the gospel.

The week culminated in a large evangelistic event where Andrew shared a message of hope and saw many respond to his invitation to accept Jesus.

Palau assures that he cannot believe God has given him this opportunity to share his faith 31 years after his life took a turn.

Andrew Palau:

“I am an evangelist. I never would have dreamed it. Even when I was saved and started growing in my faith. I never thought I would do it. I just wanted to serve God. I never thought it would translate into someone who stands in front of people, large and small groups, and shares the Gospel.”

Three years after his father, Luis Palau, passed away, Andrew continues this labor of sharing the good news around the world.
