CHARLOTTE, NC — Revd Franklin Graham and Christians from over 320 churches across Scotland are working together to bring the God Loves You Tour to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow next month. These family-friendly events will feature live music and a message of hope, and they are free and open to all.

“This will be the 10th time I will have preached in the UK and I’m just as excited as the first time that I preached in the UK 25 years ago,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “Just like every time before, I’m coming with a message of Good News. I’m coming to share how people can have a real and personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

Many churches in the region are partnering with Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for this outreach because they believe the hope-filled message of the Bible needs to be shared in their communities.

“I see isolation, anxiety and hopelessness written across the faces of so many people here in the east end of Glasgow,” said Andrew Smith, senior pastor of Gateway Church in Glasgow. “In a culture filled with challenging and difficult circumstances, how good it is to welcome people to hear a message of hope and transformation. There is a God who loves you and wants to make a positive difference in your life.”

Reuben Morley, the youth festival director for the God Loves You Tour said, “While statistics indicate that young people are drifting away from God, the excitement among our youth is building daily as we approach 22 June. We’ve witnessed hundreds of Gen Z and Gen Alpha attendees at our pre-tour events, where they are being equipped with tools to deepen their relationship with God and gain the confidence to share their faith with others!”

The God Loves You Tour will feature award-winning musical guests. Three-time Grammy Award winner Michael W. Smith will perform live during both nights of the tour. Taya, formerly of Hillsong UNITED and best known for “Oceans,” one of the most popular songs in Christian music history, will also be joining the tour.

To make it as easy as possible to attend the event, BGEA is providing free buses for churches that would like to bring a coach filled with people from their community who need to hear a message of good news.

About The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

Founded by Billy Graham in 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) shares the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. Billy Graham had a profound love and appreciation for the United Kingdom, and he established BGEA’s UK office in London in 1954. Mr. Graham went on to preach in the UK more than any other place outside of the United States.

About Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham is continuing the lifelong work of his father. Since his first evangelistic event with BGEA in 1989, he has held more than 275 outreaches in over 50 countries, including eight events in the United Kingdom since 1999. Last year, Franklin Graham shared the hope of the Gospel with over 10,000 people in London, and he will be preaching at ExCeL London again on 21 June next year. In addition to serving as president and CEO of BGEA, Franklin Graham also leads Samaritan’s Purse, which works in more than 100 countries, including Ukraine where the international Christian relief and development organisation has helped more than 14.5 million people by providing 113,000 tonnes of food and 907 tonnes of emergency relief supplies on 43 airlifts. Samaritan’s Puse also operated five field hospitals and five medical clinics in the war-torn country, treating tens of thousands of patients.
