Samaritan’s Purse Responding After Turkey Earthquakes

Samaritan's Purse is urging prayer for all those who are in anguish after the earthquakes in Turkey and for the work of their teams.

TURKEY — Samaritan’s Purse is at work in Turkey establishing a 52-bed Emergency Field Hospital. The charity is urgently requesting prayer for all those who are in anguish after the massive earthquakes in Turkey and for the work of their teams on the ground to bring relief and support to those in desperate need.

Melanie WubsSamaritan’s Purse:

My name is Melanie Wubs, Medical Response Coordinator with Samaritan’s Purse. I’m here in South East Turkey where the effects this week of the earthquake have been devastating.
Samaritan’s Purse has been working with our partners here.

We’ve been requested by the Ministry of Health to set up an emergency field hospital in this sport, where this 1,000 bed facility behind me has suffered severe infrastructure damage and is not functional. We ask for your prayers for the people here in Turkey and also for our team as we move quickly to meet the needs.
