NEPAL — St. Paul’s Believers Eastern Church Cathedral in a village in Nepal organized a special social program focused on improving waste management in the local community. As part of this initiative, the cathedral distributed 50 dustbins to members of a community group in the area.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Dropati Ganesh, Vice President of the community group, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are fortunate to have the church in our community. We have seen and heard how the church is doing good work for society and the country in various ways, which is a very commendable and estimable act.”
Rev. Fr. Chitra Kumar Rupacha, Diocesan Vicar of a diocese in Nepal, officially handed over the 50 dustbins with stands to the community group.
Mr. Gokul Rijal, Secretary of the community group, also spoke at the event. He emphasized the importance of unity, saying, “We belong to different faiths, castes, and backgrounds, but if we work hand in hand with each other, we can surely do great things for our community. Om Shanti Tole Bikash Sastha is grateful to the church for this gift.”
