Caring for Flood Victims in Washington

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA — Samaritan’s Purse volunteers are coming alongside and caring for flood victims in Whatcom County, Washington, to help them clean up their damaged homes and let them know that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them. But more volunteers are urgently needed.

Jaime Keoshian, Samaritan’s Purse:

My name is Jaime Keoshian with Samaritan’s Purse. We are here in northern Washington state, responding to a flood. This river has come out of its banks, and gone over the road and into this community. There are hundreds of homeowners that have been misplaced because of this flooding.

Samaritan’s Purse is here to help these homeowners mud out their homes, removing the wet sheetrock, the wet belongings, the flooring that has been ruined; to come alongside that homeowner that is just hurting, and needing someone to talk with and pray with, to give them hope through Jesus. Please pray for these homeowners. They desperately need our prayers and help. We are asking you to volunteer here in Washington state. Thank you for praying for us and these homeowners. God bless.
