Equipping Unsung Heroes to Deliver Relief Deep Inside Ukraine

UKRAINE — Samaritan’s Purse is working through a network of over 2,000 partner churches in Ukraine to provide food, medicine, and other critical relief items to displaced people all across the country in Jesus’ Name.

Ken IsaacsVice President of Programs & Government Relations Samaritan’s Purse:

My name is Ken Isaacs, and I’m speaking to you today from Bucha, Ukraine. This area is in the northern part of Ukraine, and it is the area that was famously notarized across the media for columns of Russian armored vehicles that were destroyed. I was here about a month ago, right after the town was liberated, and the street behind me, at that time, was full of destroyed tanks and armored personnel carriers, and even corpses in the road.

Samaritan’s Purse is helping people all across Ukraine. We’re helping without regard for anything except we love them in Jesus’ Name, and we want to show that. We are working through a network of partner churches– over 2,000 across the country– to distribute food, to provide medicine, to keep fuel going. God has allowed us to do all of this through many, many years of partnership here in Ukraine, starting back with Operation Christmas Child over 20 years ago.

When disasters happen in the world, the DNA, the heart of Samaritan’s Purse, is to run to the disaster and to help people in the ditches of life. No matter where it is in the world, no matter what is going on, we want to be there and to be there in the Name of Jesus Christ. That is what we are doing in Ukraine now.

Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your support. Much is needed here, but God is providing us with everything that we need, and we want to be good stewards of it. Thank you for being a partner with us in this ministry in Ukraine.
