The 14-Day Fatherhood Challenge following the one-hour event will feature encouragement, practical application, habit-building tools, video content, relevant messages from worldwide leaders, daily prayer, and Bible reading. By downloading the FREE Promise Keepers app, participants will be able to connect with other dads for small group discussion, equipped to implement the new ideas they’ve learned to improve their role as a father.

The Fatherhood Challenge will appeal to all men, not only Christians, so men are asked to invite their friends, relatives, coworkers, and neighbors. It is a rich, relevant, interactive experience for men to participate in to improve their role as a father no matter what stage of life or fatherhood they are in. It includes quick-fire sessions loaded with tools and techniques.

There is something for every father, from the expectant dads to the granddads. The training is not geared only to a nuclear family, but will cover other aspects of fatherhood, including dads of foster children, adopted children, stepchildren, as well as separated children and grown children.

Promise Keepers is asking all men to stand in the gap for the fatherless in their community, to let mission work begin at home. To build strong fathers starts by building men of integrity, wisdom, and strength. As longtime PK friend and men’s leader Dr. Tony Evans states, “Strong fathers build strong families. Strong families build strong communities. Strong communities make a strong nation.”

According to Barna Research, half of all US dads did not feel fully prepared for fatherhood. Yet, half of all Christian fathers report overall satisfaction with their children. For Christian fathers who struggle with their relationship with their children, as well as non-Christian fathers, the Promise Keepers Fatherhood Challenge will be revolutionary.

Two factors appear to strongly contribute to Christian father’s satisfaction. Christian men who had a positive relationship with their father are more likely to say they are satisfied with their relationship with their own child. Christian men with intergenerational friendships or with a confidant other than their partner are twice as likely to be very satisfied with their relationship with their children. The 14-Day Challenge will be equipped with powerful resources to dramatically amplify relationship satisfaction between fathers and their children.

For early access information, register at promisekeepers.org/fatherhood. Promise Keepers will send resources, reminders, and an invitation to the Promise Keepers community through the app.

About Promise Keepers

Founded in 1990 by Coach Bill McCartney, Promise Keepers is one of the most significant movements of God in the history of the church. In 1997 alone, Promise Keepers packed 22 NFL stadiums and gathered 1 million men for Stand in the Gap: A Sacred Assembly of Men at the National Mall in the District of Columbia.

Today, PK is on the move again. Under the new leadership of Ken Harrison, we’re praying for massive revival and transformation in our nation by 2025. More than ever, America needs a revival of godly men. Our nation faces problems that can only be overcome when men of integrity — promise-keeping men — fulfill their destinies as godly husbands, fathers and leaders.
