A Historic Event Marks a Generation Hungry for God — The Send Brazil

On February 8th 2020, Christ for All Nation's (CfaN) President and Lead Evangelist, Daniel Kolenda, preached at The Send Brazil.

ORLANDO — On February 8th 2020, Christ for All Nation’s (CfaN) President and Lead Evangelist, Daniel Kolenda, preached at The Send Brazil. The Send Brazil was a 12-hour event that took place simultaneously in three stadiums in two of Brazil’s largest cities. Kolenda and his team were transported from one massive crowd to the next. By the day’s end, they had presented a clear, impassioned Gospel message at Brasilia National Stadium in Brasilia (the capital), as well as at Morumbi Stadium and Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo (the nation’s most populated city) – all between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

More than 140,000 people attended the 12-hour, Jesus-centered meetings, including Brazil’s president, Jair Bolsonaro. According to Fox News, President Bolsonaro showed up simply because, “he wanted to be there for the historic event.” Though he wasn’t on the official speaker’s list, he was invited to the stage and met with wild applause when he declared that he
“is a believer in Jesus and that Brazil belongs to God.”

Another electrifying moment of the day came when a wheelchair-bound man was healed by the power of God. He stood up from his chair and lifted it above his head to show off the amazing work of the Holy Spirit. It’s an image – and an inspiration – that won’t soon leave the tens of thousands who were there as witnesses.

The Send is a collaboration between several ministries led by Daniel Kolenda, Lou Engle, Michael Koulianos, Todd White, Brian Brentt, Teo Hayashi and the teams point man, Andy Byrd. The Send events are organized as a show of profound, Spirit-led unity and an unshakable faith that God is catalyzing an earth-changing missions’ movement in this generation. Building on the success of The Send Orlando in 2019, the organizers were thrilled with both the turn out and the response from both the live audience and the more than 2-million people who joined the live-stream online for The Send Brazil. In both Orlando and Brazil, multiple tens of thousands were inspired to commit their lives to Jesus, to fast, to read the Scripture, and to evangelize in their communities.

Evangelist Kolenda captured the enthusiasm in a statement posted to his Facebook page along with incredible photos from the day, saying,

“God is raising up this generation to go out and be His hands and feet to spread the Gospel. The average age at all 3 stadiums was 24! #TheSend Brazil was a historical day for this country!”

Evangelist Kolenda will also speak at The Send Argentina on April 25th 2020 and The Send Kansas City in October. For Kolenda and the CfaN team, The Send is an integral part of realizing a “Decade of Double Harvest” – their strategy to see as many people find salvation through Jesus in the next 10 years as did in the first 40 years of CfaN’s ministry. If the recent events in Brazil are any indication, God has every intent to see that goal met. Visit for more information on Daniel Kolenda, Christ for All Nations, or The Send.
