Samaritan’s Purse Bringing Relief and Hope to Ukrainians

Continuing to Bring Hope to Ukraine

UKRAINE —Samaritan’s Purse is continuing to bring relief and hope to Ukrainians whose lives have been torn apart by the conflict.

Many Ukranians are now surviving the winter in war-damaged homes without basics like heat and electricity. Some, living closer to the fighting, have no steady supply of food, as they live without jobs and often transportation. Samaritan’s Purse is on the ground helping in Jesus’ Name by providing food, water, tarp, plywood, and stoves.

Franklin GrahamPresident and CEO, Samaritan’s Purse:

I’m in Ukraine right now where Samaritan’s Purse has been able to distribute 123 million pounds of food so far and we’ve got hundreds of people here working, distributing food. We’ve got stoves that we’re giving truckloads of wood water medicine. We’ve had several hospitals here of clinics courses dangerous. There’s a lot of bombing. A lot of people have been killed by civilians. And so the war goes on but the need to survive is here.

Ryan LaneSamaritan’s Purse:

The needs here are great food is scarce, the supply lines that broken down, the stores are closed, water systems have been damaged and destroyed. Samaritan’s Purse is in places like this engaging in activities like this because we want to ensure that those in the greatest need around the world feel the love of Christ and know that the church is there standing beside them. There’s one thing that we want to bring more than anything else, is hope.

VyktorSamaritan’s Purse:

Today I saw many people they look very tired and we are encourage them today to say that we are with them. They are not forgot for mass and from God. It’s big privileged for us work together and help these people in their need and give them hope.

Seven months, day and night of shelling and fires. There hasn’t been much food. Thank you so much for helping us now. May we have no more war.

Alyna:

It has been very difficult for me. All of my friends went abroad, but I stayed here. We were under occupation for six months. This aid provides so many useful things that are necessary for our life. It has helped me personally. Thank you for everything.

Franklin:

This is what God has called us to do. Meeting needs in Jesus’ name, and we’re going to be here for some time. Even if the war stopped today, the tragedy of what’s happened in this country is going to be here for years to come, the scars of this war. The scars on people’s hearts and lives. Thank you for your help. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your support. We just ask people to pray continue to pray for Ukraine.
