CHARLOTTE, NC — Franklin Graham is going to the U.S.-Mexico border to share a message of God’s love. The upcoming tour will be stopping in Presidio, Texas, on March 2. This will be the sixth stop of the God Loves You Frontera Tour, which will visit 10 cities, starting at the Gulf of Mexico and going all the way to the Pacific.

Tour will bring live music and a life-changing message of hope to the southern border

More than 20 churches in Presidio County are working with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) to bring these exciting evenings of music and hope to southern Texas.

“We are coming to the southern border because it is one of the neediest areas of our country at this time, and people need to hear a message of hope,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “Everyone along the border is overwhelmed—the churches, the law enforcement agencies, the residents, those they’re trying to help, as well as the people coming into our country. There are a lot of hungry hearts and hurting people, so I’m coming to the border to tell everyone about God’s Son, Jesus Christ, and how He can make a difference in our lives if we put our faith and our trust in Him.”

Over 1,000 churches in Texas, Arizona and California are partnering with BGEA for this 10-city tour because they want to reach their communities with a message of God’s love.

The event is free and everyone is invited to attend. On March 2, live music will begin at 5 p.m. at the Manuel O. Hernandez Memorial Stadium.

“We live in a unique part of Texas, surrounded by deserts and mountains and it can often feel isolating. Because of that, many people feel misunderstood, alone, and stressed,” said Coleman Reidling, pastor of First Baptist Church in Alpine. “I am excited for the God Loves You Frontera Tour because Franklin Graham is coming to tell people they matter and are not forgotten. I’d like to invite everyone to come and hear this message, it can give you hope.”

Iconic Spanish-speaking Christian music artist, Marcos Witt, will perform in Spanish and English at each tour stop. He has received six Latin Grammys and two Billboard awards. Taya, formerly of Hillsong UNITED and best known for “Oceans,” one of the most popular songs in Christian music history, will also perform. Award-winning musician Dennis Agajanian, who has performed at Billy Graham’s and Franklin Graham’s evangelistic events for more than 45 years, will be joining the tour as well.
