Good News Radio for the Whole Family – AMEC Romania

ROMANIA – Evangelization of young children is part of the vision of AMEC Romania. Given the rapid development of technology, the organization directed its attention to the online environment. As a result, in 2014 the Good News radio station was launched.

Daniel Leonte:

We transmit online for children who are in the online environment. We’d like to make the Lord Jesus Christ known through this station. It’s a safe place where children and parents can hear about Jesus, and can discover useful information for their lives.

Daniel Vasilca:

The idea with which this radio station was launched is to reach as many children as possible especially Romanian children which live in the diaspora.

Good News Radio aims to reach children as well as parents. Due to the wholesome content, it is a safe place for the little ones.

Alex Grigore:

I’m very happy to meet you you in the Good News Radio studio from where we broadcast only good news. And the best news is the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. What kind of news do you pass along? Bad news, toxic news or good news? Here, in the studio, we record the shows you hear on Good News Radio and here is where we also do our live shows. We invite you to participate in these live, interactive shows and, why not, to grow spiritually along side of your children and to take part in our contests.

The program grid includes shows and entertaining interactive categories, that are also educational.

Daniel Vasilca:

At Good News Radio you can listen to Bible stories, events, riddles. Children can learn basic English. We have tutoring for children. There are also times when we have live shows together with my wife, Doini. We have interactive shows with children and they write to us directly on WhatsApp. The smaller children record their messages on WhatsApp. The show is called “Good Day” and it’s a live program. We have very many listeners, especially in Europe, but in other countries of the world, too.

The purpose of the AMEC mission is to evangelize children, and Good News Radio is a useful tool to fulfill this vision.

Daniel Vasilca:

This radio station came into being as an enlargement of our vision. Perhaps there are children who are unable to participate in a “Good News” group at a meeting, and who do not attend church. That’s when Good News Radio enters their homes through the internet.

The work of evangelizing children is very important in order to strengthen their faith from childhood, and because they represent the church of tomorrow,
