Samaritan's Purse medical team is treating Covid patients in North Carolina they are praising God as recovered patients leave their facility

LENOIR, NC — As a Samaritan’s Purse medical team is treating Covid-19 patients in western North Carolina at their Emergency Field Hospital in Lenoir they are praising God as they see recovered patients leave their facility.

Regina Randolph, RN, Samaritan’s Purse:

We are here in Lenoir, North Carolina, set up on the campus of Caldwell Memorial. We have a site here to take care of COVID patients. We are supporting five different hospitals here in this area. And we are trying to take the weight and the burden off of the staff that are in these community hospitals that are way overburdened with patients.

So we are receiving every day anywhere from four to eight patients a day and probably discharging three and four. So we have people that are getting well here and being able to go home. So it just really– it’s very heartwarming. And it makes you feel like that, yes, we are helping people. Pray for all of the patients and their families and all of us on the site here.
