Feeding Refugees in Ukraine

Samaritan’s Purse church partner in Ukraine, is helping distribute food feeding refugees who have fled homes due to the ongoing conflict

DNIPRO, UKRAINE — A Samaritan’s Purse church partner in Dnipro, Ukraine, is helping feeding and distributing food to refugees who have fled their homes due to the ongoing conflict. More importantly, they are also sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

Vladimir IvanovPastor, Blagovest Church:

At the moment, there is an urgent need. Many missions are closed. But Samaritan’s Purse continues its work. We receive food from Samaritan’s Purse. We put it in a warehouse, package it, and give it to people at the church. Right now, all the people we are feeding are refugees.

Maryna TihteyInternally Displaced Person:

We are very thankful. So many people who also left Mariupol are helping at the volunteer center.

Vladimir Ivanov:

For me, to feed people is important, but it’s more important to save them. And we are trying to take this opportunity to spread the Gospel, to pray and to [share] Jesus. That is our main mission, to save souls.
