SKOPJE, MACEDONIA — EEM (Eastern European Mission), a ministry that has steadfastly worked for more than 60 years to supply free Bibles to Eastern Europe and the surrounding nations, recently delivered 225,000 Children’s Bibles in North Macedonia as a result of its Bibles for Kids fundraising campaign. The gift was recognized by both the Church and government as the largest book donation the nation has ever received.

EEM’s board chair, Charlie Branch was excited to see a such positive reception from the people of Macedonia.

Charlie BranchEEM Board Chair:

The Macedonian church leadership really embraced the opportunity to connect their children with God’s word in an attractive and appropriate way. The Bibles for Kids that we presented to them with the hope that they would receive this as a gift for their children, they found to be very positive and connected kids with God in the right way.

And EEM is planning a further Bible distribution on a similar scale to children in Macedonia in the near future.

About Eastern European Mission

Eastern European Mission (EEM) was established in 1961 to provide Bibles and Bible-based materials throughout the former communist bloc countries in Eastern Europe. Today, EEM publishes and prints Bibles and New Testaments as well as Teen Bibles, Children’s Bibles and coloring books, distributing them through a vast network of partner churches and organizations reaching more than 32 countries in 23 different languages, including Farsi and Arabic. Bibles in these languages have recently been given to Middle Eastern refugees who landed in Greece, which has resulted in thousands of them coming to Christ. For more information, see www.eem.org.
