100,000 Come to Christ During Online Service

Christian leaders joined together to livestream a Good Friday service that was viewed by more than 1.7 million people in 167 countries.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Christian leaders joined together to livestream a Good Friday service that was viewed by more than 1.7 million people in 167 countries.

According to Nick Hall, President and CEO of The Table Coalition and the founder of the Pulse Movement, affiliates in call-centers and on digital platforms around the world received more than 100,000 contacts from people who came to faith in Christ during the service.

Hall hosted the service that featured messages by Ravi Zacharias, Tony Dungy, Francis Chan, and Max Lucado. Christ-centered worship music was provided by luminaries including Michael W. Smith, Lauren Daigle, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes.

As astounding as the reported viewership and the number of decisions made to come to Christ, viewership results from some countries have not yet been reported.

The program was available on local television stations around the world and was streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.

“We had translators working in closed countries who were risking their lives to bring this message in their language to their people, because that’s how precious the gospel is to them.”

The leadership team had the foresight to establish a network of believers to act as contact points and to arrange for follow-up with everyone who called in, texted, or chatted online wanting to know how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Even now, that network is engaged in discipling to help new believers grow in faith.

The service is still available at goodfriday.com.

Nick Hall created the Pulse platform as a means of engaging a new generation of digital devotees who might not otherwise ever hear the Gospel.

“Pulse exists to make Jesus known. We want to see the Gospel spread, God’s Word engaged, and disciples multiplied through live events, digital ministry, training young leaders, and partnering across generations. Our goal is to use digital platforms to help people grow in their relationships with Jesus and share Him with others.”

Even during a deadly pandemic, the gates of hell cannot prevail against Jesus Christ and His Church. Rather than sitting at home and do nothing, tech-savvy, generationally-in-tune Christians are leading evangelistic outreaches despite public health mandated lockdowns and orders to isolate in place. In fact, some have begun to call the broadcast during Easter 2020 “The Great Quarantine Revival.”
