BOULDER, CO — The shooting that killed 10 people in a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, left locals shaken and asking questions, including a young woman named Daismarie. She met Billy Graham chaplains who told her about the love of Jesus Christ and offered prayer. Find out how that conversation forever changed her life.

Will Rosado, Billy Graham RRT Chaplain:

We’re here in Boulder, Colorado with the Billy Graham Rapid Response team, providing hope and comfort to these people that have been devastated and whose hearts have been broken after ten people were shot and killed by a gunman.

So one of those people that were heartbroken was a young lady. She started sharing how her heart was broken and how she’s losing faith because of what she is witnessing right now here in Boulder, Colorado. And you could tell that she was sad and that she was looking for some kind of hope. So once she was able to understand that God was with her and that God has never turned His back on her, you could tell she was gaining some kind of hope and we were able to share with her John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 where you have to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

So we asked her if she was ready to receive Christ after we ministered to her and she said yes. And right after she accepted Jesus Christ we could tell that her joy was different and her facial expression was nothing but the Holy Spirit working in her heart.

Daismarie Liberty, Colorado Resident:

We prayed for a lot of peace. We prayed for a lot of faith. Personally I got a calling which I needed so I am leaving Boulder today with a lot more than I came with.
