TABORA, TANZANIA — Your Network of Praise (YNOP) has announced plans for the May 1, 2021, launch of the New Life Africa Satellite Network (NLASN). New Life Africa Satellite Network will air a format of teaching programs and music, hosted by announcers from a number of countries across Africa. Programming will be in English and Swahili. The network will broadcast via a direct-to-home satellite which reaches about 50 countries in Africa, online and through apps for mobile devices, and will make its programming available to local FM radio stations throughout Africa.
With the vision to saturate the whole of Africa with the good news of Christ, US Christian radio ministry Your Network of Praise (YNOP) will be launching the New Life Africa Satellite network in at least 50 nations across the continent May 1st.
Roger Lonnquist,YNOP Network General Manager:
We see so much potential to have many people come to Christ and for this to also be something through which many people are strengthened. Many people who already know the Lord. Because they’ll have the opportunity for daily teaching in both the Swahili language and the English language as New Life Africa Satellite Network divides its time between the two.
Yohana Dioniz, New Life radio presenter, Speaking from their studios in Northern Tanzania:
In Africa there are still some countries where the Gospel has never been heard even a single time. So through this network we expect the whole of Africa will be impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and many more souls will be saved through this network.
So as presenters like Yohana commit their lives to broadcasting the Gospel across Africa it’s hoped this satellite network will be a catalyst for waves of revival across this continent.
