Help The Persecuted Rushes Aid to Morocco Earthquake Survivors

Just after the Morocco earthquake, Christian charity Help The Persecuted sent their team to some of the most hardest to reach communities.

MOROCCO — Just after the Morocco earthquake killed thousands of people and left hundreds of thousands more homeless Christian charity Help The Persecuted sent their team to some of the most hardest to reach communities to provide practical and spiritual support.

The earthquake in Morocco killed thousands of people and left hundreds of thousands more homeless. A team from Christian Charity helped the persecuted immediately mobilize to some of the most devastated areas to provide vital support for persecuted Christians and the wider population, setting up tents and providing food, clothing, baby formula and blankets to survivors.

Morocco team leader Bassam shared that the needs of the people go far deeper than their tangible needs. He said people are shocked and panicked by the earthquake. They need someone beside them for comfort. The spiritual care we’re offering is desperately needed.

And help the persecuted is urging Christians around the world to continue to pray for the church in Morocco and all the earthquake survivors, that their lives will be rescued, restored and rebuilt in Jesus’ name.
