SAT-7 Empowers Middle East Kids to Find True Freedom

SAT-7 Kids' faith-filled television and digital media programmes are bringing joy and freedom to children in the Middle East.

BEIRUT — In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and the catastrophic explosion in Beirut, SAT-7 Kids’ faith-filled television and digital media programmes are bringing joy and freedom to children in the Middle East. The impact of their broadcast ministry is highlighted in a new TV Special called Free To Be Me.

A new TV special called Free to Be Me highlights how SAT 7 kids is supporting children across the Middle East both spiritually and emotionally following the recent lockdown as well as the Beirut explosions.

SAT-7 Lebanese children’s presenter Marianne A-wa-raji whose story is featured in the show shares how they’ve been able to impact so many young people dealing with the trauma of these difficult times.

One of the girls called Clarissa called us and said that during the explosions she was in Beirut, she was in the car. She started traveling, she was worried about her brother who wasn’t with her. That night she couldn’t sleep all night long. She kept hearing the sounds of the explosions. We were there to help her and tell her that we have many questions, many terrible things could happen, but you have to take the fear and put it in God’s hands. It’s okay to ask why because we have a big God who handles all our questions and a few weeks after she called and said that now I’m at peace. This memory does not haunt me anymore. But I have peace, the peace of God, the peace I get from the songs I learned from you.

Marianne says as well as these life-changing broadcasts SAT 7 kids ministered on the streets of Lebanon following the devastating blasts.

Some little kids went there with some chocolates and some water bottles to give to different people who lost their houses. It was beautiful just to see that even kids are involved there.

She concluded by sharing how they hope this Free to Be Me show will empower children across the globe to find true freedom.

We wanted to empower them. We wanted to show them that your talents really matter. You can make a change in your community because of the beautiful talents that God has given you.
