ARMENIA — Samaritan’s Purse is bringing urgently needed medical care to people who have been forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan—and sharing with them the love of Christ.
Due to the recent conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, there are thousands of displaced people in the Caucasia region. Hundreds have found refuge in the small town of Tsaghkadzor, Armenia.
Garik Hayrapetyan, Deputy Mayor of Tsaghkadzor, Armenia:

Megan Kevorkian, Samaritan’s Purse:
We’re in a resort right outside of Hrazdan that has been hosting displaced persons from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. There’s around 350 persons here. They’ve left their homes, and they’ve left most of their things and even their medicines. And so as a result, we’re coming here to provide care for them.
We have come with doctors, nurses, medical staff from Samaritan’s Purse, a variety of medications. As our medical team has been caring for these patients, we’ve noted that there are spiritual needs too. They’ve experienced war. They’ve been displaced from their homes, whether they’re in Armenia or in Azerbaijan. We’re here caring for their direct needs.
Pray for healing on both sides of this conflict. Pray that the wounds of war, both physical and spiritual, would be healed and that the light of the Gospel would ring true in this region.
