CAN THO, VIETNAM — Pastor Franklin Graham, along with over 215 churches across the Mekong Delta, is preparing to hold the Love Season Evangelistic Program at the Can Tho Stadium on December 3 and 4. This will be a historic event—the first of its kind to be held at this scale in the Mekong Delta. Previously, churches in Can Tho City and the 12 provinces of the Western region have never come together and collaborated in such a way to share a message of hope that brings about change in lives.

Pastor Graham is pleased to see progress regarding religious freedom in Vietnam. He is grateful to the government for allowing him the opportunity to return and freely preach the Gospel here.

“I come to Can Tho at the invitation of local churches, who have prayed and planned for many years for the chance to share a message that God loves the people of Vietnam,” said Pastor Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “This is a Gospel that has the power to change your life forever, and I look forward to sharing this message of hope in the Mekong Delta. I am especially thankful to the leaders of this country for welcoming me back to Vietnam and allowing us to bring the Love Season Evangelistic Program to Can Tho.”

Pastor Graham has a deep concern for Vietnam and its wonderful people. He has assisted tens of thousands of Vietnamese families over the past 20 years. Most recently, he responded to Typhoon Yagi by providing essentials and disaster relief support in the name of Jesus.

The two-night Love Season Evangelistic Program in Can Tho is completely free and welcomes everyone. Live music performances will kick off each night at 5:30 PM featuring artists Lưu Chí Vỹ, Isaac Thái, Lê Nguyệt Anh, the Nissi band, and American musicians Charity Gayle and The Afters.

This will be Pastor Graham’s third time preaching the Gospel in Vietnam. He previously preached in Hanoi in 2017 and in Ho Chi Minh City last year after being welcomed by former Deputy Prime Minister Lê Minh Khái and a high-level delegation including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, and Government Committee for Religious Affairs.

This is Pastor Graham’s first visit to the Mekong Delta. He and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are collaborating with Evangelical churches across various provinces to bring the Love Season Evangelistic Program to Can Tho Stadium.
