AFRICA — Christ For All Nations founder Rheinhard Bonnke dedicated his life to the vision that Africa shall be saved. He saw himself as just the forerunner of a completely new generation of Holy Spirit evangelists. In 2024, the organization has set and achieved a record number of Gospel Campaigns to commemorate its golden jubilee.
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda:
“Tell me what Jesus did now – did He heal you?”
From Cape Town to Cairo, Africa shall be saved.” This was the call Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke received through a prophetic dream in 1974. 50 years later, Christ For All Nations is marking half a century of ministry with 50 Gospel Campaigns, starting in Cape Town, and culminating here in Egypt.
Daniel:
“Nobody else rose from the dead for you – there is only One.”
Christ For All Nations has documented more than 96 million decisions for Christ. Ever since Reinhard Bonnke’s very first Gospel Campaign, attendees have experienced outpourings of the Holy Spirit and life-changing miracles. Here in Egypt, where Christians make up less than 10 percent of the population, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and his team continue to witness salvations and miracles.
Daniel:
“Do you need this walking stick?… Come on, let me see that stick. Let’s get rid of that stick. Come on, walk for us. Walk, walk, walk… Wow, she’s not just walking, she’s running. Hallelujah!”
Training and equipping is a vital part of the Gospel Campaign strategy. In Nigeria, organisers were able to conduct four crusades with just slightly more time and budget than they previously invested in a single crusade. In Uganda, teams witnessed many converts surrendering and burning items used for witchcraft. Preparation work in Ethiopia included Women’s Seminars Captains Training for leaders from more than 900 churches and the assembly of a mass choir, made up of singers from more than 50 evangelical churches.
Christ For All Nations is now in its 50th year of ministry. While it is hoped that this year will see the 100 millionth documented decision for Christ, it is certain that the Gospel will continue to transform lives on the African continent.
Daniel:
“And now when we prayed in the Name of Jesus it’s gone?”
