National Religious Broadcasters Association Welcomes Thousands of Christian Communicators to 2025 NRB Convention in Grapevine, Texas

Global event highlights strength and influence of Christian broadcasting; honors NRB member achievements in media

GRAPEVINE, TX The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Association welcomed more than 5,800 Christian media professionals—including 345 international attendees representing 52 countries outside the United States—to the 2025 NRB International Christian Media Convention, held February 24–27 in Grapevine, Texas. The leading global convention and trade show for Christian communicators featured 58,000 sq. feet of exhibits with 271 exhibitors, including 62 first-time exhibitors.

Addressing the room full of Christian broadcasters and media communicators at the Opening Session of NRB 2025, Troy A. Miller, NRB president & CEO, said:

The NRB 2025 Convention kicked off on Monday, Feb. 24 with the Intercollegiate (iNRB) 12 and 24–hour Challenge competitions and the annual NRB members’ meeting, where the board class of 2028 and executive committee officers were elected. The NRB Media Awards luncheon highlighted the best of Christian media in radio, television, digital media, and international programming. The Board of Directors elected at-large officers and approved nine formal resolutions for 2025. Read all 2025 resolutions here.

That afternoon, the Great Commission Forum provided attendees an opportunity to gain insights into the worldwide reach of Christian media, featuring Rev. Samuel Rodrgiuez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) and musical artist Mimy Cifuentes. In the evening, the Opening Session set the tone for the week with remarks from Jack Hibbs, pastor at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and president of Real Life Network. Musical artist Matthew West performed moving musical selections. Later that evening, NRB President’s Council members mingled at a special VIP reception sponsored by Turning Point Ministries and CityServe International.

Throughout the week, NRB hosted a full slate of panels, talks, and networking opportunities, including discussions on local broadcasting, values-driven media, censorship, pro-life and pro-family values, and Christianity in public life.

Wednesday, Feb. 26 began with the annual, sold-out Breakfast to Honor Israel. The breakfast featured singing of the U.S. and Israeli national anthems from Bishop Robert Stearns, founder & executive director at Eagles’ Wings; a keynote address by Livia Link Raviv, consul general of Israel to the Southwest; and performances by musical artist Yair Levi. David Parsons, vice president & senior spokesman for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), and Elan Isaacson, head of security for the Eshkol Region, had a fireside chat about the difficulties of the war from a personal perspective. The breakfast was sponsored by the Combat Antisemitsm Movement (CAM), International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), and Magen David Adom (MDA).

Wednesday evening featured the annual Media Leadership Dinner, an invitation-only dinner for presidents and leaders of NRB member organizations and their guests. The dinner featured keynote remarks from Jonathan Turley, a nationally recognized legal scholar and professor at J.B. & Maurice C. Shapiro of Public Interest Law and at George Washington University Law School. The dinner was sponsored by the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM).

The NRB 2025 International Christian Media Convention concluded on Thursday, Feb. 27, with another full day of affiliate events, workshops, talks, exhibits, and networking opportunities. The Closing Gala featured a musical performance by The Erwins, the presentation of the annual Special Service Awards, and a keynote address from Dr. Robert Jeffress, senior pastor at First Baptist Dallas. The Gala was sponsored by Evangelism Explosion International.
