MEXICO CITY — More than 52,000 people gathered at Arena CDMX in the north of Mexico City to hear the Good News and reflect that Jesus is the only real hope. During the two days of Hope CDMX, the atmosphere was filled with voices that emotionally and loudly, in unity, cried out for the name of Jesus.
Thousands attended the meeting at the Mexico City Arena. The two-day festival attracted a total of 52,900 people to this historic event. Hundreds of buses helped transport people to the event. Neon-colored T-shirts, balloons, and party hats helped kick off “Festi-Kids”.
“I love Mexico,” said Franklin Graham through his interpreter David Ruiz. Latin Grammy winner Marcos Witt sang and encouraged the audience. Singer Nadia performed dressed in Mexican attire.
More than 9.2 million people live in Mexico City, one of the largest cities in the world. Thousands sang together in English and Spanish with Michael W. Smith and Mexican performer Kimy Richards. Graham shared how everything changed when he surrendered to Jesus Christ and found true peace. Many left their seats to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus. More than 6,000 people prayed to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ during the event.
