A Day of Joy and Care: Believers Eastern Church Marks Children’s Day

SOUTH ASIA — On November 14, 2024, Believers Eastern Church dioceses marked Children’s Day with vibrant celebrations and meaningful initiatives, highlighting the joy and innocence of childhood as a gift from God.

In Bastar Diocese, a free tuition program was inaugurated in Bhataguda village to support underprivileged children, demonstrating the Church’s commitment to education and empowerment. Similarly, in Udaipur, winter clothes and biscuits were distributed to poor children by the Women’s Fellowship and Sisters of the Cross, bringing warmth and comfort to those in need.

St. Johannes Schools, Hope for Children centers, and parishes across various dioceses organized joyful activities such as games, storytelling sessions, and sports events. Gifts, stationery items, and refreshments were distributed to children, filling the day with smiles and laughter. Special prayers were also offered, seeking God’s blessings for the children’s growth in faith, wisdom, health, and knowledge.

Through these efforts, Believers Eastern Church reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing the spiritual and emotional well-being of children, emphasizing their invaluable role in shaping a brighter future for society.
