Pastor Nimer’s life was on the line, but he seized every opportunity that came his way to share the hope of Christ in Egypt. Then one night he was brutally beaten on his way home from church, and his attackers even threatened to kill him. He had to flee the area and take shelter with his family at a help-the-persecuted safe house. The Christian ministry is helping Pastor Nimer rebuild his life one step at a time.
Pastor Nimer:
It is so beautiful to have an organization like Help The Persecuted for people like me, whether pastor or not. It made all the difference to see this kind of love and support. We are happy with the team and the kindness they showed us. It’s not only the place provided, but the spiritual support and prayers. We feel so grateful and blessed. It’s so wonderful.
Despite the persecution, Nimer remains steadfast. He’s more determined than ever to share the Gospel in one of the most dangerous regions in the world to speak about Jesus.
Pastor Nimer:
First of all my time on earth is very limited. I want to use it to speak about Christ and His love for all people. Heaven rejoices when someone is saved, and I want to have a mission to help save as many people as I can through Christ.
Help The Persecuted continues to stand with thousands of other believers throughout the Islamic world like Pastor Nimer. They rescue, restore and rebuild the lives of believers who’ve lost everything for the sake of Christ so that the persecuted church can endure, flourish and multiply in hostile places.
