NASHVILLE — Leader of a national Christian youth conference announced today that God called him to bring events to five U.S. cities for free starting this spring as the coronavirus pandemic winds down and young people struggle to maintain and grow their faith during shaky times.
Kingdom Youth Conferences, (http://www.kingdomyouthconference.com/) a hybrid youth event that combines powerful worship, dynamic teachings and missions outreaches, will bring its conference to cities in Texas, Arizona, Florida and Colorado beginning March 5. The Conference theme is “Unshakable.”
“This is a hurting time for a lot of students who have been locked up for a year,” said Ryan Edberg, Kingdom Youth Conferences co-founder. “I believe this is an unprecedented season of revival for young people, who need to get out of their houses. That’s why God has us doing free conferences this year.” Watch Edberg’s live Facebook announcement here: https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=399063864528836&ref=watch_permalink.
While giving a message at his church in Columbia, TN in the first days of 2021, Edberg exhorted his congregation about hearing from God. “My people are missing my voice. They are looking for an Old Testament God in a New Testament season. Stop looking for an audible voice, a pillar of fire and a burning bush. During a crazy time like this when there is incorrect news out there, we have to hear our God. The Holy Spirit is speaking to us from the inside-out — telling us where to go, where to pivot and when to stop,” said Edberg.
How do you know if you’ve heard from God? “If you’re uncomfortable and scared to death about what God has asked you to do,” admitted Edberg. “God is always faithful to supply our needs according to his glorious riches,” he said quoting Philippians 4:19 in the Bible.
Since 2016, Kingdom Youth has ministered to thousands of young people during hundreds of high-energy Bible-centered events in the U.S. During 2021, Kingdom Youth will step out in obedience to hold free conferences in DeSoto, TX, March 5-6; Mesa, AZ, March 19; Spring, TX, April 16; Plant City, FL, April 23; and Woodland Park, CO, June 4.
