ISRAEL — Samaritan’s Purse is working with ministry partners in Israel to distribute grocery boxes to Israeli families who have been displaced by violence.

During this war, there’s been rockets shot all up the coast. There’s sirens going off every day, every few days here. They’re having to run into their bomb shelters. When you’re in a time of crisis, the last thing you want to think is about where your next meal is going to come from. And it’s scary to go out when you don’t know if it’s safe. There’s so much unknown.

The heart behind offering grocery boxes is just to take off that pressure of needing to figure out where the next meal’s going to come from. Today we’re in Bat Yam at one of our distribution hubs, so grocery boxes funded by Samaritan’s Purse. In the boxes we are handing out today, there’s rice, beans, pasta, tea, coffee. And we as believers want to be among the first to respond, to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Even in the midst of such darkness, believers are being the light. And while they feel like the world is turning against Israel. We’re able to lean in and say that you’re not alone.
