Recognizing Christian Media’s Best at NRB 2025 Media Awards

GRAPEVINE, TX The 2025 NRB Convention’s Media Awards Luncheon celebrated the dedication and impact of Christian media professionals worldwide. Hosted with a spirit of gratitude and recognition, the event honored individuals and organizations that have exemplified excellence in broadcasting, digital innovation, and ministry outreach.

Jim Sanders, chairman of the NRB executive committee and principal & executive vice president at Ambassador Advertising Agency, opened the event by acknowledging the outstanding contributions of the awardees.

“I want to say thank you and congratulations to all those who are award recipients,” Sanders said. “It’s clear that your hard work on behalf of the Lord is being recognized here today.”

Debra Fraser, second vice chair of the NRB executive committee and president of TLN Media, took a moment to recognize iNRB students and express appreciation for the standing committee members.

Presented by NRB committee members Bryan VanHaitsma and Sam Rinearson, the Digital Media Awards celebrated cutting-edge innovation in Christian media.

The Best Digital Innovation Award went to Infinity Concepts for its IDEX Pro tool, a platform that identifies anonymous website visitors and converts them into donors using advanced analytics and data-driven personalization.

The Best Digital Experience Award was awarded to Rapt Interviews, a non-denominational online magazine featuring compelling conversations with Christian leaders. Rapt was recognized for its beautifully designed, responsive website and multi-channel content delivery.

The Best Original Podcast Award honored “Culture & Christianity: The Allen Jackson Podcast” for its insightful discussions on faith and culture, high production quality, and consistent weekly release schedule.

Wayne Pederson and Bonnie Sala presented the International Media Awards, recognizing ministries making a global impact.

The International Impact Award was presented to Thru the Bible, a groundbreaking global ministry that reaches millions in over 250 languages through radio and digital platforms.

The International Media Award was given to TWR Malawi for its pioneering work in Christian broadcasting. With 13 FM transmitters and programming in six languages, TWR Malawi continues to spread the Gospel in one of the world’s poorest nations.

The International Strategic Partnership Award honored Your Network of Praise (YNOP) for its collaboration with Guidelines International, Galcom International, and Pearl and Lulu FM to distribute 1,000 solar-powered audio Bibles to believers in Kenya’s underserved coastal regions.

The International Individual Achievement Award was presented to Sam P. Chelladurai, senior pastor of Apostolic Fellowship Tabernacle in Chennai, for his transformative teaching and outreach efforts in India.

Mike Shelley and Tim Johns led the presentation of the Radio Industry Awards, highlighting stations and programs that have made a profound impact.

The Radio Station of the Year Award went to HOPE 100.7 (WEEC) for its dedication to spreading the message of Christ through community outreach and engaging storytelling.

The Radio Program of the Year Award was awarded to Pathway to Victory, the broadcast ministry of Dr. Robert Jeffress, for its bold biblical teaching and life-transforming messages.

The Radio Impact Award was presented to Allen Jackson Ministries, which reaches millions weekly with biblically sound teaching, equipping believers to live out their faith.

Joshua Weiss and Virginia Bossa took the stage to present the Television Industry Awards, recognizing excellence in Christian television.

The Television Impact Award was given to “Leading the Way with Dr. Michael Youssef,” honoring his unwavering commitment to proclaiming biblical truth across major media platforms.

The Television Messaging Campaign of the Year Award was awarded to Leading the Way for its impactful “Awake America” prayer movement and “Hidden Enemy” series defending religious freedom.

The Television Program of the Year Award was presented to The 700 Club, a flagship program of the Christian Broadcasting Network, recognized for its longevity and commitment to delivering faith-based news and stories.

The Television Station of the Year Award honored WLMB-TV 40 of Toledo, Ohio, for its Christ-centered programming and dedicated community outreach.

As the event concluded, Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of NRB, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedication of those in attendance.

“Thank you for the time and the dedication,” Miller said. “It takes time to do this, and it takes talent, and it takes will, and it takes initiative. And you all have shown that.”

The 2025 NRB Media Awards Luncheon was a testament to the powerful role Christian media plays in spreading the Gospel. Through innovative technology, broadcasting excellence, and unwavering faith, this year’s honorees continue to impact lives around the world, carrying forward the mission of proclaiming Christ through media.
