Mr. Robert E. Day
On January 16, 4 tornadoes hit the Dallas, Texas suburbs.
NBCDFW reports, “The four confirmed tornadoes — including two EF-1 tornadoes, an EF-0 and one other that is yet to be rated — were spawned from a single long-track super cell thunderstorm that moved across Coryell, Bosque, Hill and Tarrant counties, according to the NWS.”
After the Green Bay Packer’s defeated the Cowboys, there was a tornado warning set in place for Irving, TX.
Fox News explains, “A tornado warning after Green Bay’s victory over Dallas in an NFC divisional playoff kept some fans and players inside AT&T Stadium for more than hour after the game.”
The Dallas suburbs were not the only part effected by the crazy weather. South Texas was also hit by hail as big as softballs.
According to the Weather Channel, “Additionally, hail larger than quarter-size coated the ground near Del Rio, Texas, early Sunday evening. The hail grew bigger, to as large as teacups, later Sunday evening near Rocksprings, Texas. Near Medina, Texas, softball-size hail dented cars.”
World Impact is sharing Christ’s hope to the Dallas inner city.
World Impact explains, “World Impact Dallas seeks to evangelize, equip and empower indigenous leaders for church-plant movements among the urban poor all across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Our Dallas ministry partners with churches in the DFW area.”
Please pray for World Impact, that they would be able to share Christ’s hope with the people of Dallas, especially those that have impacted by the tornadoes.
