The tailoring center, established in a village in South Asia and inaugurated in a prior month, was aimed at providing a ray of hope and skill development for women in the area. The initiative sought to empower them with the necessary tools to secure a sustainable livelihood.

Twelve sisters, facing challenges of unemployment and lacking crucial skills, were given an opportunity to learn the art of stitching at the tailoring unit in this locality in South Asia. Despite various hurdles, nine of these determined women persevered and successfully completed the vocational training program.

In a joyful and heartfelt ceremony held at the Believers Eastern Church premises in a community within South Asia, the Women’s Fellowship Department presented certificates to the graduating sisters. The occasion not only marked their accomplishment but also symbolized a step towards economic independence for these women.

Sister Phulmaya, one of the grateful graduates, expressed her heartfelt appreciation, stating, “I would like to thank Believers Eastern Church for giving me the privilege to enroll in this tailoring center. I had never touched a sewing machine in my life. You gave me the opportunity to learn. Thank you so much for making me a skillful woman.”
