Experience this powerful event with us — watch now!
In such challenging times it’s important to come together to Express gratitude and honor to those who protect us daily. Gratitude is the simplest and most important thing that each of us can give so for the eighth time. The Kyiv Jewish Messianic Congregation is organizing such an event. It brings together veterans those in treat recovering from injuries and those recovering from trauma.
Chrom – The Military:
I was in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine serving in the 25th Brigade of the separate Air Force. I was wounded last year. I like this event. it’s just unusual. It left an impression on me spiritually.
Seimion – The Military:
This is the third event thanks to such CICS as Dim Demych and Dima. The first time I came here I was in a wheelchair and I certainly couldn’t walk on my own two feet. It’s a good event – one can rest their soul, be around people and feel needed. It’s a place where people see you and care about you.
At the beginning of the event and after the program you can taste all the delicious treats and enjoy the warm atmosphere of Joyful Fellowship.
A raffle or prize drawing has already become a special feature of the event for the military which always adds more positive emotions.
Dmytro – Military Chaplain:
Well I don’t think there are any other opinions about this event. It’s just an extravaganza. I actually have a testimony. I attended every evening and four out of eight times I brought one or two people with me and they won a prize, and today it happened again. I don’t know if it’s some kind of anointing.
Volodymyr – Military Chaplain:
Another guy who I also mentored in a new career pack … I came with him. He was happy! So thank you for what you do for the guys.
This guest took part in the event and performed extraordinarily emotional pieces. During the evening an unexpected but already familiar event happened — a power outage — in the darkness the voices of all those present could be heard as they continued to sing along with the performers.
This moment became a turning point — a symbolic one even — proving once again that we can’t lose hope in the most difficult circumstances and must continue to support each other. It was a particularly inspiring and touching manifestation of unity for our military
Ihor – Senior KJMC Minister:
It was very family like as they say and the atmosphere was very warm despite the cold weather outside and the fact that the power went out several times. But that even added to the event to accent something the Lord was doing in the hearts of our military. Our main task was to thank those people who were defending Ukraine, to pray with them for God to bless them, and give them some spiritual exhortation so that something would be left in their hearts after this event.
Vitaly – Senior KJMC Minister, Chaplain:
Guys leave very refreshed very grateful especially the wounded guys they felt something the Lord renewed their hope it’s hard to come up with words to describe it they really enjoyed it we’re not just doing it for the sake of doing it to just hang out here in this way we’re moving towards Victory.
This is not just any event it’s proof that even in the darkest times it’s possible to find and share light with those who need it the most
About KJMC
Kiev Jewish Messianic Congregation (KJMC) was born shortly after first Festival of Jewish Music and Dance, organized by the mission “Hear, O Israel!” (Jonathan Bernis), which took place in Ukraine in 1994. Boris Grisenko has been the rabbi (pastor) of KJMC from the very beginning. Rabbi Boris was also the Vice Chairman of the Ukrainian Interchurch Council and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from CLST (Christian Life School of Theology). KJMC has grown over the years and today numbers more than 2,000 people. The congregation is comprised of Jews and non-Jews, all of whom have accepted the Lord Yeshua ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ).
The KJMC vision is focused largely on the revival of the Jewish people, including:
- So that every Jew would know his Messiah
- The unity in the Body of the Messiah to be restored
- To break free of non-Biblical extremes of Judaism and Christianity
- To bring about freedom from anti_semitism, indifference, and other non-Biblical attitudes as well as freedom from Humanism and occult spirituality
