ROMANIA — Valeria is 26 years old and 9 months pregnant, but even in her situation, she had to leave the town that she called home, Odessa. She ran away from war and ended up in Galați, a city in the eastern part of Romania. In the custom of Isaccea, Valeria met Alfa Omega TV team who was there for some interviews, but also offered her transport to the Emanuel Refugees Center from Galați, where she is now living. The Christians received her with open arms and guided her to a hospital where she gave birth to her baby girl.
About Alfa Omega TV
Alfa Omega TV is a Christian Media ministry founded in 1994 and based in the city of Timisoara, western Romania. It’s purpose is to do mission through media tools, to reach Romanians living in the country and abroad (Romania has a large diaspora) and to impact other communities in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
Many people would not enter a church to listen to a priest or a pastor. But, through media, Alfa Omega TV reaches people where they are: at home, on their way to work, when they relax. By creatively using television, print media and digital technologies, they present all the facets of the Gospel to Romanians.
