CINCINNATI, OH — “Legacy Summer Conference” hosted by 7 Hills Church saw over 500 students in attendance, with 78 of them making the decision to follow Christ, July 27-29.

For three days, charter busses transported students from Cincinnati, Ohio to the Florence, KY campus of 7 Hills Church, where hundreds of middle school and high school students met for times of worship, teaching, small groups and games and excursions around the surrounding city, including trips to Coney Island Water Park and the Cincinnati Zoo.

One student who felt a significant impact from the weekend was Ty. Ty’s family lives in Anderson County and faithfully serves at 7 Hills Church’s Cincinnati Campus. His family has been in church their whole lives but had their fair share of negative experiences. They were looking for a solid place to plant their family when they discovered 7 Hills Church.

“Ty experienced God in a new way on the first night of Legacy Summer Conference. On the second night, he made the decision to be baptized. He was on fire and ready to make the decision to be baptized, so our team got creative. On the third night, we snagged the dunk tank to baptize Ty! Our team invited his family and they were able to attend and witness his baptism. He was able to be baptized, surrounded by the new friends he made at Legacy Summer Conference, his family and his youth pastor. This is what our ministry is all about.”
