Billy Graham Chaplains Ministering After Colorado Massacre

BOULDER, CO — The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) has deployed to Boulder, Colorado, following a supermarket shooting that killed 10 people, including a law enforcement officer, Monday March 22.

Chaplain coordinator Jack Rassmusson, who lives less than an hour from Boulder, is leading a team of crisis-trained chaplains. They’re offering a listening ear and prayer with the shaken community and local police department.

While the Rapid Response Team has deployed to several natural disasters and events of civil unrest during the pandemic, this marks the first time they’ve ministered after a mass shooting since the start of COVID-19.

The community was shattered March 22 when a shooter opened fire in a grocery story killing 10 people. Leaving a town stunned and hearts broken. Mourning their losses and searching for answers. The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is responding listening comforting. Praying with the community. Praying with law enforcement. Bringing hope in Jesus name. Please pray for Boulder.
