Christ for all Nations Launches A Million Children for Jesus Campaign

TANZANIA, EAST AFRICA — Over 60% of the entire population of Africa is under the age of 25 and more than half of those are under the age of 16. In response as part of Christ for all Nation’s “Decade of Double Harvest”, the ministry has launched a campaign to reach a million children across Africa with a clear Gospel message.

As part of that strategy millions of copies of a children’s evangelistic booklet called What’s Next have been distributed in several languages including in English, Xhosa, Zulu, Congolese French, German, Afrikaans, Haitian Creole and Kirundi. Now there are plans to translate it into the local language of every place that they are planning evangelistic campaigns in the next year.

GNA reporter Peter Wooding spoke to CfaN’s Evangelism Alliance Director Macoby Donaldson to find out more.

Macoby DonaldsonCfaN’s Evangelism Alliance Director:

As part of their Decade of Double Harvest campaign to see 150 million people respond to the Gospel, Christ for all Nations has launched a strategy called A Million Children for Jesus. CfaN’s Director of Evangelism Alliance Mocaby Donaldson explains more about their plans and the remarkable response they’ve already seen in Tanzania.

According to Barna statistics 9 out 10 believers accept Jesus as their Savior before they turn 18 years old. So we’ve developed this strategy to really go where the young people, the youth and children are even in places like Africa where they might be handing around soccer fields, market places and these kind of things and we really target them and we preach the Gospel to them and it’s going extremely well. We sent a team of 9 Bootcamp evangelists this summer and over a course of six week they saw over 300,000 youth and children give their lives to Jesus.

And to enable them to reach more children CfaN is busy translating their What’s Next children’s books into every language they are planning their evangelistic campaigns across Africa.
