Congressman Mike Garcia Visits Field Hospital in California

LANCASTER, CA — U.S. Representative Mike Garcia has received a tour of the Samaritan’s Purse Emergency Field Hospital in Los Angeles County.

The mobile unit opened in the parking lot of Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster January 16 and their medical team is treating Covid-19 patients providing God’s love in action.

Mike Garcia, Congressman, California’s 25th District:

This is just a blessing. This is literally saving lives every day you guys do this. This is Congressman Mike Garcia. I’m out here in the Antelope Valley at the AV Hospital, where we’ve been blessed with an Emergency Field Hospital set up by Samaritan’s Purse. It’s going to allow the AV Hospital to fight this fight against the COVID virus by getting about 50 folks into these, what look like tents on the outside, but frankly, once you go in, you have no idea you’re in a tent. It looks like a full-up hospital.

This is amazing. I’m just blown away. This is, this is how we’re going to get through it. We were able to get help out here through the blessings of Samaritan’s Purse and strong prayer. We need to remain hopeful.

This has been a blessing to be here today and be able to see what is absolutely a miracle in the parking lot of the Antelope Valley Hospital.
