NEW TAIPEI CITY, TAIWAN — Counting down the New Year to the sounds of worship. For over 20 years, GOOD TV has invited an interdenominational group of pastors to welcome the New Year online. Despite the experience of ups and downs brought by the pandemic, they end 2021 by counting God’s blessings, and step into 2022 with worship and prayer.

Counting down the New Year to the sounds of worship. For over 20 years, we have invited an interdenominational group of pastors to welcome the New Year with us online. Though we’ve experienced the ups and downs brought by the pandemic, we end 2021 by counting our blessings, and step into 2022 with worship and prayer.

Gordon HuangPastor, Taipei 101 Church:

Jesus Christ is our glorious King. Whatever we may face, He never changes. He is our salvation. He is our Savior. He is our hope.

He’s leading us beyond the old year into the new one.

Cheng-han ZhuangPastor, Yilan Church:

Though this year brought many changes and difficulties, we are truly grateful that the Lord has led us each step of the way. I believe the glory of 2022 will be greater than that of 2021. In 2022, we’ll see God’s Kingdom coming in greater and more glorious ways.

Specific prayers were raised for personal and family needs, for our churches, for Taiwan, and for all nations, proclaiming through this sacrifice of prayer that the new year will be a victorious one.

2022 New Year’s Prayer Meeting Prayer Focus:

  • Pray for personal needs
  • Pray for our families and churches
  • Pray for this land of Taiwan
  • Pray for all nations

Jia-zhong LiPastor, Light of the City Church:

Lord, we are longing. The Church is Your family. And our family is Your Church. In these last days, Your Spirit will be poured out on Your family.

Jushia LiPastor, Taipei 101 Church:

In the coming days, we will begin to see God in His Word, in the Bible, and the genuineness of that Word.

Zhen-hua ChangPastor, Change Life Church:

Actually, this has been a year of great victory because it has made us stronger. We know that our Lord has overcome this world. I believe the most important thing for the Church this year is to live a testimony of peace, a testimony of joy, a testimony of victory.

Leaving the past with gratitude and entering the new year with praise and worship. In this post-pandemic world, we look for new things to come to pass. GOOD TV News Center reporting from New Taipei City.
