Love in Action in Israel

ISRAEL — A pastor in Israel gives thanks for the love and food that Samaritan’s Purse is providing for families displaced by the recent terrorist attacks.

Samaritan’s Purse Partner:

The morning, October 7, we are awake from the siren. Then my wife starts looking over, and she said, There are some people outside with a gun.” And we start to pray. We start to pray, and my youngest son start to cry. And then we hear a lot of crying and shooting from the machine gun, and we understand they just killed people outside.

The feeling is bad. This is the reality. To see the terrible situation, many people said, “We are afraid. How can we continue our normal routine?” Many people who stayed down in the city of Sderot, and many evacuated, they come to be needed. So we are trying to help everybody who is in need today because of the war. And Samaritan’s Purse, you’re part of our work and start to be with us and it’s pretty helpful. Then we’re bringing just the food to the family who two months ago, they’ve worked and have everything what they need today. They just sit at home. So it’s a real practical help. It’s a real action in life.

Pray for the residents of Sderot. Pray for the residents of the Gaza Envelope.
