Sending Urgent Aid to Displaced Families in Chad

GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA — It’s been 100 days since violence erupted in Sudan, displacing hundreds of thousands of displaced families and forcing a staggering 230.000 refugees to seek safety in Chad.

We take you to Greensboro Airport, where a Samaritan’s Purse DC-8 cargo plane is being sent on a life-saving mission. Loaded with vital humanitarian supplies like shelter materials, medicine, and pharmaceuticals, this flight aims to provide aid to the most vulnerable victims of this crisis.

Dave PhilipsSamaritan’s Purse:

100 days ago, fighting broke out in the country of Sudan, and it displaced hundreds of thousands of people. And part of that crisis forced 230,000 people to flee to the neighboring country of Chad. So today, we’re at the Greensboro Airport, where we’ll be launching our DC-8 cargo plane to fly to Chad with urgently needed humanitarian items. These are things like shelter supplies, medicine, and other pharmaceuticals. that can be used to help those who are the most vulnerable and that have been affected by this crisis.

In the midst of their pain, in the midst of the suffering that’s going on, we wanna go there and provide spiritual and physical aid to hurting people and let them know that God loves them and they’re not forgotten.

Please go to samaritanspurse.org and learn more about what’s happening through the Ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. And please pray for the people of Sudan that have been affected by this humanitarian crisis.
