Child Evangelism Fellowship Offers Sunday School Solutions

WARRENTON, MO — The need has never been greater for children to hear biblical truth and recognize the Bible for what it is—even children in church. Americans view of the Bible has shifted substantially in recent years, and the church is not immune. According to the Barna Group, “Millennials are half as likely as Elders to believe the Bible is the actual word of God and twice as likely to believe it is a manmade book of teachings and advice.” Sunday school teachers need all the help they can get as they seek to reverse this trend! That is why Child Evangelism Fellowship® has launched a new training ministry geared toward giving practical help to Sunday school teachers. Called Sunday School Solutions, it is a free video and article series available online.

Child Evangelism Fellowship® has launched a new training ministry geared toward giving practical help to Sunday school teachers: Sunday School Solutions

“With over 80 years of experience in ministering to children all over the USA and around the world, CEF is uniquely positioned to give advice that works in children’s ministry—no matter what curriculum you use. We want to help you in all aspects of your children’s ministry,” stated Moises Esteves, vice president, International Ministries.

The series includes topics such as keeping kids’ attention, adding excitement, teaching preschoolers and classroom management strategies all from people who are right beside you in the trenches of children’s ministry. Each video is less than three minutes long and can be used as part of your church’s teacher training program or viewed by individual teachers. Each video has an accompanying blog post with even more practical tips on that topic.

As teachers improve their skills in practical areas, children will not simply do their time in Sunday school. Instead, they will engage with the Word of God. They will be able to take in the importance and the truth of the Scriptures, and most importantly, come to a saving relationship with Christ and grow in Him throughout their lives. Not only will the trend toward skepticism be reversed, but also their lives will be truly changed.

Child Evangelism Fellowship is an international, nonprofit, Christian ministry that has been teaching the Bible to children since 1937. CEF has 400 offices in the USA and is organized in most nations of the world, with over 3,400 paid staff and hundreds of thousands of volunteers. In its last ministry year, CEF ministered to over 20 million children in its face-to-face teaching ministries.
