CityFest Brings Hope to South West Connecticut

SOUTH WEST CONNECTICUT — Many people were reached with a message of hope through CT CityFest. Evangelist Andrew Palau led multiple outreaches and gatherings throughout South West Connecticut during “festival week,” including a gathering for young professionals and civic and business leaders, a youth worship and prayer night, and two gatherings for women led by Wendy Palau.

The week culminated with a free evangelistic Festival at Seaside Park on August 27 and 28.

After years of active preparation and prayer, 22,000 people came out for the latest Luis Palau Association CityFest at Seaside Park in Bridgeport Connecticut on August 27 and 28.

Each evening, evangelist Andrew Palau shared a clear Gospel message with those in the crowd and those who tuned in online with many accepting his invitation to make a decision for Christ.

Over 175 churches partnered together to serve the region and proclaim a powerful message of hope in Jesus through multiple evangelistic gatherings, training events, and community service initiatives. Pastor Mike Bulkley is with Kingdom Life Church in Milford Connecticut.

Pastor Mike BulkleyKingdom Life Church in Milford, Connecticut:

There’s energy that’s building with churches. And we’re saying the Gospel is spread on a weekend, but it’s going to continue to go forward in all of our churches throughout our community through City Serve, through all the different events that we’re going to do that will continue to build relationships, not just so we have good things to do together but for the kingdom of God so we’re going to carry that on.

And the Palau Assocation’s next evangelistic festivals will take place in Egypt and Buenos Aires, Argentina in the coming months.
