ARKANSAS — Samaritan’s purse volunteers are working hard in the Mississippi delta–cleaning up homes, deliver God’s hope & encouragement in Jesus’ name.
Keeth Willingham, Samaritan’s Purse:
Samaritan’s Purse is responding to some massive flooding here in Desha County, Arkansas.
Roy Williams, Homeowner:
Without Samaritan’s Purse, would’ve took a good minute to do all what is being done now.
As we’ve gone around the neighborhoods, a lot of people are struggling. Their homes have water in them. They’re discouraged. They don’t know what the next step is. And so volunteers have come in, and Samaritan’s Purse has responded to try to bring hope to these hurting folks, saying, “Give them what they need in their time of desperation.”
These guys here, they do the work for the Lord. That’s awesome. They let you know that there is a God.
And I really thank them. And so me and my wife got together and said, well, we will cook them lunch as appreciation.
There are a lot of people who are still in need of help. Please consider volunteering. We need your prayers, as we minister to this community, the Lord will be lifted up and glorified.
