Serving Flood Victims in North Carolina

HAYWOOD COUNTY, NC – Samaritan’s Purse is in Haywood County, North Carolina, helping flood victims and homeowners clean up their houses after a foot of rain fell in 24 hours and caused massive flooding.

Andrew Metcalfe, Samaritan’s Purse:

We’re here in Haywood County, North Carolina, where last week they received over 12 inches of rain in a 24 hour period, which caused several rivers, like the Pigeon river here and many others to rise suddenly and cause devastating flooding to the surrounding communities. Samaritan’s Purse is here responding by helping the homeowners wipe down their homes and removed damaged contents so that they will be ready to rebuild and recover. We certainly appreciate your prayers and support right now. Thank you so much.
