New Homes Dedicated for California Fire Survivors

PARADISE, CA — Samaritan’s Purse and their community partners recently dedicated three new houses in Paradise, California, to help some of those who lost their homes in the 2018 Camp Fire.

Here we are in Paradise, California, where we’re dedicating homes to people who have survived the Paradise fires. These homeowners lost everything, not only the exterior of their home, but all their belongings, all their keepsakes. And so today is a monumental day where Samaritan’s Purse gets to come and dedicate these homes to Christ and to their recovery.

Susan Van Horn, Homeowner

I would like to thank Samaritan’s Purse with my endless gratitude. And I will continue to thank them for the rest of my life for providing this wonderful home. I love it. I just love it. I really do. There’s nothing I don’t like about it. Nothing I don’t like about it.

My hope for these homeowners is that they will understand and know God loves them, that He’s not forgotten them, and that there’s hope in Jesus Christ.
